Islandia is a professionally managed association. The Board of Directors consists of five elected volunteers: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Member. The board hires a manager who in turn hires other staff. The board of Islandia relies heavily on volunteer committees to investigate and advise the Board. The committees include the Architectural, Budget & Audit, Landscape Conversion/Water Reduction, Governing Documents Restatement, Project Next Play Area Next to Pool and soon Welcoming Committee will be up and running again. and once a year the Election Committee. Once a year, an Inspector of Elections is appointed, not an Election Committee. As a homeowner there is lots of volunteer opportunity to help your community.
